Our High-Barrier material is made of a multi-layer construction that provides low OTR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) & MVTR (Moisture/Water Vapor Transmission Rate) while also being highly puncture resistant. MATERIAL

For our High-Barrier (GPHB) line of vacuum sealer bags, the designers at GardaPack combined the features of our Super Heavy-Duty (GPSHD) line and the special attributes of EVOH copolymer to produce a bag with a very low OTR.

These 5.5-Mil bags have an extra layer of protection that keeps products fresher for longer. The multiple layers of polymer film create an extra strong barrier that prevents odor, moisture, and other contaminants from entering or exiting the bag. Your products’ quality is effectively maintained, and in some cases, improved while in storage.

The advanced technology of our High-Barrier vacuum seal bags effectively slows down the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms, which are responsible for product deterioration. Oxidation and mold are also effectively prevented. Store and transport products confidently with a high level of puncture resistance, which prevents the bags from tearing and causing leaks.

Regular vacuum seal bags do not fully protect products such as roasted nuts, flowers, dehydrated foods, ground coffee, baked goods, dog food, cosmetics, medications, meat jerky, granola, and other items that need a higher level of protection from environmental degradation.
